Mr. Wong is a former Executive Vice President, Corporate Development at Web.com where responsible for all global M&A and equity and debt capital market activities...retired in 2019. Upon retirement, founded, and now manages, the Wong Family Office (WFO) which focuses on limited partner investments in multi-family real estate, specialty finance and alternative/special situations.

Since joining full-time in 2008, led Web.com’s acquisitions of Network Solutions, Register.com, Solid Cactus, SnapNames, Yodle, TORCHx, Donweb (Latin America), Scoot/Touchlocal (United Kingdom) and Acquisio (Canada). Also concurrently served as General Manager of Web.com’s eCommerce Division from 2009 to 2013.

Spearheaded Web.com's $2.1 billion sale to private equity. Since initial involvement in 2003, grew revenue from $17 million to over $750 million, and created over 10x return for shareholders. Served as the Chairman of the Board for NameJet, a leading domain expiry auction business, and previously as a Board Director of Orange Soda, a Salt Lake City-based SEO company for SMBs. Orange Soda was successfully sold to Deluxe Corporation.

Served as the Board Chair (now Trustee Ex Officio) at Jacksonville Country Day School, one of Florida's leading Independent schools and separately, has been twice publicly-elected to the office of Board Trustee of the Ponte Vedra Municipal Service District. In 2021, joined Washington DC-based DayBlink Ventures as Senior Executive Advisor.

Prior to Web.com, was a founding member of FBR's Technology Investment Banking Group and led the Enterprise, Network, and Internet Software corporate finance practice. During over 11 year tenure at the investment bank, completed dozens of initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, buy-side and sell-side merger & acquisition transactions, strategic advisory assignments, and private placements.

Mr. Wong served six years as a U.S. Navy Officer in the Nuclear Propulsion Program, and has an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University and a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame. Interests include competitive martial arts, boating, and international travel.
