The Annual Conference of the GW Investment Institute (GWII) has been a consistent highlight for over a decade, bringing together over 50 students, alumni, and faculty from GW each year. This gathering broadens students' understanding of finance and sparks curiosity about financial service careers.

Background

GWII teaches students how to invest and how to think about investing. In GWII’s finance classes, students serve as analysts and portfolio managers, managing over $9 million in university endowment funds across four student investment funds covering equities, quantitative investing, and real estate. The Institute was launched in 2005 with a seed donation of $1 million from Russ and Norma Ramsey, which established the GW Ramsey Student Investment Fund.
